June 8 Dinner Presentation "Bet you didn't know that I could hack you from..."

Many people have seen the movies about hackers and state of the art network security, few know that it is easier to gain access to a network than you think.  This could include the current environment of viruses and malware, phishing scams, or just simply an unsecured copier or printer.

These devices are often a forgotten piece of the network that has the ability to give you full access to anything you want over time.  Whether it's a copy of a print or scan job or a user's login information, this important part of digital information needs to be secured.  That includes locking down open ports and thumb drive capabilities, protecting the hard drive with encryption or DOSS, and protecting the operating system from malware.  Every network should have a holistic managed print program that encompasses the security, ease of management for IT staff, ease of use for user, any compliance/regulatory rules, and improved workflows at a cost that makes sense for your organization.

What's in it for me?

Meridian is sponsoring this event and has asked Jordan Arnold, Director of Managed Services Solutions to be our speaker.
